We were here before the boom. GroundConsult has worked as a FedEx ground route and contract consultant since 2013. In August of 2021—as Bloomberg Magazine covered the rising interest in FedEx route opportunities—we knew we established ourselves in the right industry. Now, we’re using our expertise to help aspiring contractors launch themselves into the FedEx contract business owner arena.

We operate from experience. The CEO of GroundConsult, Dave Rawn, worked as a FedEx contractor for many years. He understands the industry. Now, he uses his insight to help interested entrepreneurs enter the business with confidence. GroundConsult is a firm led by veteran insiders who know what it takes to be successful in business and are there to help you every step of the way.

Dave Rawn

President

Dave is a highly motivated professional with over 30 years of experience owning and operating successful businesses. After spending 30 years in restaurant operations and C-suite executive positions, he purchased a FedEx contact in Minnesota. After a highly successful 3 years, he opted to sell his contract and focus his efforts, exclusively, on helping FedEx CSPs achieve their goals and objectives. Since 2013, the focus of Dave and his team has been to support individual initiatives that drive individual results; no cookie-cutter solutions here. With a focused understanding of the CSP model, he is uniquely qualified to customize support for clients looking to improve their operations, downsize or exit the business.

Dave is the lucky husband of a very supportive partner and wife and a very proud father of two very successful children. In their free time, they enjoy traveling the county in their Airstream, exploring the gems of the National Parks system, and hiking the trails of places that lead to nowhere.

Norb Kohler

Western States

Norb is a highly motivated professional with over 30 years experience of in owning and operating successful businesses, both in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Throughout his career, Norb has run a successful Real Estate company, and several venture capital startups and has established and worked with teams as large as 50 people. Norb’s strength as a leader is in making sound business decisions, fiscally responsible financing, and raising capital for existing and new ventures. He is known for creating great work environments for employees and management. His outgoing personality and business acumen adds strength to our existing national reputation.

Roger Struthers

South Central States

Roger Struthers is a Certified Professional Sales Consultant (CPSC) with over 25 years of experience in a variety of industries. He was drawn to the FedEx space as an opportunity to work with entrepreneurs that want to successfully sell or downsize their businesses. His clients value his ability to manage the multiple moving parts of the selling and buying process to ensure everything is done efficiently and as quickly as possible.

Roger is an Eagle Scout and a former member of the National Guard, and continues to give back to the community as a member of his local Rotary Club. When he’s not working or volunteering, you’ll find him beekeeping or spending time with his wife, Lynsey, in their Airstream with their rescue dog Mario.

Damon York

Owner—Lane Insight LLC. Resident of rural Wisconsin, married and raised six great children who understand the value of integrity and hard work.

30+ years in the customer service industry with a focus on financial results. Extensive knowledge in Profit and Loss Analysis along with program development for maximizing efficiencies and controlling expenses in all aspects of business.

Twenty-five years of multi-unit management working with operations managers to ensure consistent execution brand standards.

Jacqui Snyder

Upper Midwest States

Jacqui has significant FedEx Ground contracting experience. Jacqui started working in the FedEx Ground realm as a jumper/driver and steadily took on more responsibility to oversee executive administration and operations for one of the largest FedEx contracting operations in Minnesota. Jacqui is very well versed in all aspects of operating a FedEx Ground contracting operation. Jacqui also oversees the executive administration operations for a real estate holding company. Jacqui holds three degrees. In her free time, she is typically rock climbing or hiking with her dog, Rosie.

Nate Snyder

Southeast States

Nate is the founder of Lake State Logistics, Inc. which owned and operated one of the largest and most successful FedEx contracting businesses in Minnesota, in addition to owning multiple other entities which hold various companies and a real estate holding company. Prior, Nate was a senior business executive for most of the preceding decades involved in the executive management of Banking, Finance, Real Estate, Distribution, Insurance, Transportation, Warehousing, and Construction to highlight a few industries in which he holds executive knowledge. He has a diverse background in the business world and can easily assess and manage a variety of organizations and situations. Over the years he has been involved with the ownership and management of many businesses in varying industries.

Nate has been married for almost 28 years and has 2 daughters. His oldest daughter holds three degrees and currently oversees the administration and office operations of Lake State Logistics, Inc. and Equitable Companies, Inc. (real estate holding company). His youngest daughter is an Accounting and Business Analytics major at Creighton University who also works for our holding companies. Nate’s wife is an executive with a large medical device company in the Twin Cities, she has been there 30 years.

Nate is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys bird and big game hunting as well as fishing when he is not spending time with family and friends or traveling.

Nicholas Rawn

Marketing Manager

Nick is located in Los Angeles where he works as a sales and marketing consultant for tech startups and small businesses. Prior to graduating from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a degree in Marketing, he received his Series 7 & Series 66 and began working as a financial advisor. Two years later, he sold his book of business to pursue a tech startup in the health & wellness space full time. While he still works on that project, he has since been helping drive eyes and attention to startups and small businesses.

In his free time he enjoys golfing, hiking, heading to the beach, and anything else that allows him to take advantage of the Southern California weather.
